rev:text	Beckett's has been on our radar and tonight we managed to snag a table. The ambience is great, my daughter pointed out all the pigs hidden in the rafters during dinner (something most guests won't search for!). We started with their deviled eggs which today were bacon jam, celery heart, and pecan... delicious! Our 8 year old ate two whole eggs. Also shared the noble bread with mushrooms, figs, and house made ricotta, pretty good, maybe not something I'd order again. My Mom got the roasted red pepper soup (enough to share for 4!) and oh so good! Served so warm in a warm huge soup bowl, a meal in itself. For our entrees, the burger (amazing), the Short Rib (possibly the best we've had in Arizona and we eat a LOT of short rib), the mashed potatoes and vegetables on that dish were great! My husband ordered the Vegetable Enchiladas which did not disappoint, he also (I know right?!) ordered the Green Pork Stew (which I ended up eating too) which was PERFECT! The green chili had a tingling spice on the tongue but so sweet at the same time leaving you wanting more and more. We were just blown away by the variety of entrees we ordered and how great everything was. Dessert: Flourless chocolate cake (in my opinion you need the flour so this was my least favorite item of the night), the Fig and Pecan pie (ORDER IT!), the chocolate covered bacon smores (bacon was great, how could it not be), but again not my favorite dessert, the marshmallows were hard, maybe torched then put back into a fridge(?), it just didn't wow me like I had hoped. Overall, the wine selection is killer and we definitely will be back! Service was on point, thanks Beckett's for a great meal!
