I came here earlier tonight with a friend before we were going to drop by the beach. We had seen the place on an earlier venture to the beach a few weeks ago, and she had been dying to get back to try this place (most likely charmed by the rooftop patio). The first floor wasn't busy when we arrived, but we did have to wait about five minutes since we wanted to go up to the patio.
While going up, the second floor was closed off and completely empty. Service on the patio wasn't the greatest, and there was no server whenever we needed anything (which was confusing considering how many employees I had seen on the first floor). The servers who we did come in contact with were friendly though, if not distracted by each other.
The food itself didn't impress me. I understand this is supposed to be pub food, but even the fries seemed... bland and tasteless. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and the bun was stiff as cardboard. I ended up packing it up and taking it home (oddly enough it tasted better cold). My friend got the daily special which was supposed to be mac and cheese with some chilli. She described it to be more as "mac and chilli with cheese on top." According to her, it was decent but not very filling (since the portion was small).
As cute as this place looks from the outside, I'm not interested in coming back.
