  • Want a warm way to get the 2016 New Year started, check out Greenwich Village Coffee Co. A great place for delicacies like cheesecake, and the ever famous cup of joe. Located inside the New York New York Hotel this coffee joint gives a little insight into the coffee scene of NYC. I put my taste buds to the test and decided to test the Cafe Latte beverage to help spruce my day up. The drink is mild-not bitter, not burned, or super bold like the competitors. I noticed that I had a little more milk in my drink than what I typically expect. Not too shabby in terms of taste. I suggest checking out the pastries they have on display, they look mighty tasty and the prices are not exorbitant for the wallet. An excellent alternative to Starbucks, especially considering how busy the lines get at the Green Mermaid's lair.
