| - I went here for a drink after dinner on Friday. When we first arrived it was completely empty - but had a pretty cool vibe - well-dressed bar tender, well-stocked bar, fresh mint, star anise, cinnamon sticks, homemade tonic and more all lined up neatly across the bar. Nice big bar stools, booths, tables, no natural sunlight (the bar tender said they don't put the blinds up...).
I had the Rocco Perri (strawberries, cynar, rum, vermouth and fresh grapefruit juice). It was a strong drink but very tasty. Most drinks are around $10 or $12, which is a bit pricey (but if you have $280 to spend on a membership, you can buy a $10 drink). I definitely think it's a cool spot for a couple of drinks - will probably be more appealing in the winter because it's sort of dark and more of a cozy place. Hard to find from the street -but it's right beside Sidecar - black door. Since they're new and trying to attract new members, you can try without a membership card.
