| - I really don't know why I always come here when I have friends that always recommend other places, I guess I can give them a star because they are so close by my house and they always "have open appointments" on the same day and are able to take me anytime. However, that being said, even though I make an appointment every time, I still always wait about 20-25 minutes to get started. I don't usually have a super terrible time here, but recently I can tell they have been trying to rush people out the door so they can move onto the next customer. Especially the woman who I think may be a manager or at least someone higher up because she was bossing people around while I was there, I always feel like I'm not getting the time on my nails that I deserve. I came for a fill and now my nails are really uneven and bumpy. You can really tell the technician was trying to rush through my nails. I've been able to do my own acrylics in the past and I've been getting my nails done for a pretty long time so I can always tell when someone uses bad technique and is just reckless. To say that the technician was reckless would be an understatement because she wasnt even looking at my nails while she was using the drill. She'd look off to the rest of the salon or look who knows where, but I can tell you it wasnt my nails. One of my nails had a really bad lift, so she had to take off the area that was lifted, but she was so careless when removing it, that she ripped off most of my nail, leaving only the tip intact and she asked me if I wanted to just remove the whole nail, but at that point she really didn't leave me much of a choice, which btw, she charged me for even though I feel like it was her fault and shouldnt have charged me. I've been to many places where they use the drill to remove a lifted area because it is safer for the natural nail, but this woman was such in a rush that she just tore off the entire nail leaving it torn up and weak. It really seemed like she just slapped some acrylic onto my cuticle, barely trying to smooth it down to blend with my existing acrylic. I had to ask her to file it down thinner or else she would have left my acrylics looking thick and really unnatural looking. You can tell she didn't even file off half of the nail on one side because it's uneven when you look down the nail from the tip. There are a lot of drill marks on each nail that she didn't even try to smooth out and did a terrible job filing the shape I wanted. I think I'm going to have to take off the polish and file the acrylics myself and put polish back on because I really can't be walking around with nails like this, it's too embarassing. I don't think I'll ever come back and if I do for whatever reason, I'll be sure to say I don't want that woman again.
