  • I used to be a regular, went 2-3 X every month for the last 3 yrs. The food is very good, however the service has deteriorated to the point where the waiting staff , manager and back of the house don't seem to care about customers. 3 recent examples. On Aug 2016 I ordered 6 regular oysters and after 30' they brought special oysters. When i asked them what was this the waitress told me what i ordered and I couldn't change it. I wasn't in a mood to fight and they were good so i ate them. Then i went back a month later and sat at the Bar, it was taco Tuesday. I ordered tacos and a cocktail and grabbed hot sauce since waitress was nowhere to be seen. After 10' she came back, saw the bottled sauce and admonished me for not asking her and "taking it" from anther empty table. Finally after bragging about the food i brought 8 people yesterday. We called 1 hr in advance to reserve with Janet. When we showed up at 6:50 they told us 20' , at 7:40 i talked to the mgr about putting 2 tables together that were empty. He didn't even try, so we left and went to Playa Hermosa who moved 2 tables and accommodated us. The food is just as good. Even though its a longer drive i will no go back to Baja Joes until service improves.
