What I expected to be a great dining experience here sadly was not. The best part about this restaurant is the ambience. I started with the big cheese appetizer and ordered the vegenation burger, per the recommendation of my waitress.
The big cheese appetizer was just disrespectful. It was literally a fruit platter (with bruised fruit) that came with three of the smallest slices of cheese they could've possibly given you. It's also supposed to come with crackers but they didn't have any, just the toast. It's definitely not worth $11 and it's definitely not ideal to split between two people like it says on their website. The cheese tasted good but for an appetizer called "the big cheese," it was very misleading because you pretty much get no cheese.
The vegenation burger was the worst veggie burger I've ever had. It literally tasted like a mouthful of mushy black beans and it was extremely dry. I ended up just eating the avocado off the burger because I couldn't even finish it. Their fries are actually potato wedges, they only give you four and mine were over-cooked. I appreciate that they make their own ketchup because they are plant based but it tasted nothing like ketchup or tomatoes for that matter. It had more of a fruit-like flavor to it.
Their Henderson location is still pretty new, it may be better to try their food after they've been in business longer.
