I travel frequently for business so I happened on a ME while working in another state and a massage sounded nice so I ended up purchasing a membership which I've had for several years now. It is very much like going to a discount haircutting place. There are some good stylists and some not so good and so it is with massage therapists. The earlier post is spot on about getting out of their contract. They have written their contract very one-sided. If you want to gift a massage from your membership, it cost you a $10.00 fee. You also cannot gift another one for six months to that person (and I was never told....found out because of a charge appearing on my CC). If you have credits for ten 1 hour massages and you decide to suspend your pay plan, you are not allowed to access your credits during the suspension. If you cancel your membership, you have 30 days to use any of the credits. I'm sure the various state departments overseeing consumer affairs will be interested in these policies.
