  • I was at this hotel for an annual Anime convention. Though I did not stay in the rooms, thanks to living just up the hill in Mt Washington, several of my friends did. Pros: The cleaning staff and whoever replaced the water stations were wonderful. Even during the middle of the dance (the hottest thing at the convention, so the most water-draining thing) the water was full. And the Lobster Mac & Cheese was delicious from their little restaurant/bar, got a whole claw mixed into the mac. Cons: I'm saying the cons for a con. Stupid pun. Anyway. Several of the higher ups in the hotel were rude to the convention attendees, even refusing elevator service to a disabled attendee. That right there is blatant discrimination. The comments, we're used to them, I mean a LOT of people make fun of those who are in costume, but when it's someone who is being paid to 'put up with' us at the hotel? That's over the line.
