  • I am not a Badger, but my afternoon at Memorial Union was enough to make me wish I had considered UW in my college search many years ago. We spent a beautiful summer afternoon on the Terrace looking out over the lake and listening to some fun music by a big brass band. We had some Babcock Ice Cream. We drank some delicious beer and enjoyed the company of friends. There were a ton of people there, so people watching was fantastic. We stayed until after sunset and then headed on our way. It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
