  • Let me start by saying I have been shopping at this location for several years. It's my go to place for my husband and my son. I came in with my son about a week ago for his prom tux. Shakira helped us. We were shown a photo with various tuxes on it, color schemes, but no pricing. I'm assuming different tuxes are different prices. Well, my son chose a grey tux. Shakira took all of the measurements and entered everything in to the system and gave us a total. $259. Yowza!! We weren't asked if this was even okay. No going over prices or anything. Well, my son really wanted this tux, so I went ahead with it. Shakira did sign him up for a marketing promotion where if he got 5 people in to the store with these $40/off coupons, his tux would be free. I paid the $20 deposit, and was given a receipt and told my balance was $239, with final tax being calculated at pick up (there was $19 in tax already figured in.) The day of pick up arrived. My son hadn't been able to get the 5 people in, but was told he could use one of the $40/off coupons for his own tux. We accidently left it at home, but the gentleman in the store said he would honor it anyway. Shakira was not in. He pulled up my account, and advised my total was $221. Um, what? My receipt stated my balance was $239, as I was also told by Shakira, and the $40/off coupon would bring my total down to $199. The tax even ended up being $1 less than on my receipt. I was first told the was a $10 damage fee. That was already on my receipt. I was then told there was tax. That was already on my receipt as well, and was now less. He couldn't tell me why it was $21 higher! After arguing for several minutes, I finally just paid it. I told him I felt I was being ripped off, and that I was a long term customer that wouldnt be coming back. After a few minutes, he called me back over and handed me $21 in cash. He explained that he was able to adjust the price and give me what I was told. While I'm thankful he did that, it really makes me wonder what I was being charged for, and why it was so easy to take off? He also said he would bring this up to Shakira. I have never had a problem here. There are some creepy salesmen here and there, but the suits/tuxes always look good, and are always there on time. I may look around elsewhere next time to see what else is out there.
