I love love love independent record stores. Don't get my wrong, i have nothing against your HMV's and Virgin Mega stores. But there is something so unique about a good Indie Music store. I think its the fact that you never know what you will find.
For anyone who knows Northern California and Rasputins Record Store, you will know exactly what the lay out of Sonic Bomb is like. Like a large warehouse, with a massive down stairs of old vinyl, you can loose yourself for hours trying to find an original pressing of blonde on blonde that the bearded Neil Young fan next to you hasn't already pinched before you. I'm all for convinces in my shopping, but i guess good music needs to be discovered, and as clinched as it may sound, maybe the finding of the record should be an unexpected discovery as well.
