| - I bought a 2015 Rogue SV in Jan. I had a great experience from the initial sales, I even recommended a few of my friends to check out this location. The initial sales experience was good because the salesman Elijah worked hard to close the sales. He said since he couldn't take off the extra steep markup fee of the Coulter package (window tint, wheel locks, 3yrs oil change/rotation), he negotiated with the sales manager by lowering the price of the vehicle, and keep the Coulter package on. When we wrote up the sales contract, the extra $1699 coulter package fee was moved to line item as "accessories". I asked Elijah before I signed, what is that "accessories",? He said that's the way the company wrote up the Coulter package. I asked him, how do I know the service department is going to understand what is "accessories"? He said everyone works here knows about the "standard" Coulter package, he even assured me by giving me his personal cell phone number, said if I ran into any issue down the road, call him, he would make sure I'm taken care of, as he wanted me to become his continuous customer. I then asked him, what if you don't work there anymore, he laughed and said he had been the top sales person, he would not go anywhere. So here come sept, I am at the service department, doing my second oil change, and was told I have used up the 2 free standard oil change every new vehicle came standard with. And I will be getting charge thereafter. So I walked right over to Elijah, and asked him why my account did not have the 3 years free oil change/rotation package as I had bought it on the sales contract as "accessories"?! His respond was it has been 9 months since I purchased the car, he doesn't remember what he promised me. And if he had promised me then it would be on file. Then his manager Brian came out, and printed out the sales paperworks, he showed me on paper said he charged me $300 less on the Coulter package, so that automatically "exclude" the 3 years free oil change service, he said he would have a signature on file to show that I declined the 3 years free oil change. After about 10 mins of argument, he said he was going to "find" the paperworks that I supposed to have declined the 3 years free oil change, but he NEVER was able to show me my signature!!!!!! He tried to distract me by showing me the paperwork that I declined the life Insurnace and the 7 years/100k service contract, while it has NOTHING to do with the 3 years oil change included in the "standard" Coulter package.
I then asked to speak to Elijah, he told me " I am not going to speak to him", " he is not going to correct this issue" , " I am his manager" and "we are done here". Then he walked into his office while Elijah was in it and shut his door.
I regret giving the salesman Elijah a great review after the initial sales, I got smooth talked into giving him an excellent survey as I was made aware that their paid rely greatly on survey, basically I rewarded a liar with extra money that he did not deserve. And I am sure his manager Brian got paid extra bonus if his team get excellent survey. I feel cheated and lied to by this place.
Oh by the way, besides the sales department, the service department was horrible too. I went in the service department in March, I bought my car in Jan, and It had only 3000 miles at the time. I went in because I had a nail on one of my tires, Mark the servicer wrote up the repair ticket, said I had to replace 2 of my tires, and it would cost $560. I was shocked that I came in for one nail in one tire, how could my repair cost be $560 ! I refused, then he went to the back, then came back out in 2 mins, all the sudden I only needed to replace one tire and my cost would be $280, not to mention, I waited an hour and a half in the waiting room for a tech to look at the tires. I refused and left. I then drove over to discount tire which is 5 mins away. Within an hour, discount tire not only repaired my one tire, but also insured all 4 tires for 2 years for $108.50 with tax. So yelp reviewers, if you would like to be lied to in both sales and service department, then buy at Coulter Nissan.
One more tip for the reviewers, my sister in law bought a Pathfinder a week after I bought my Rogue. Luckily, I didn't know about it until after they had already purchased. They were able to take off that $2000 mark up Coulter package with a different sales person. What they included only worth about $500 top if you were to do it elsewhere. And by the way, even if you do pay, you may not get what it's suppose to come with at this dishonest place anyway.
Tyler and Pedro was the only 2 servicer seems genuine they make sure I was happy with my in warranty issues.
