  • From the reviews, this appears to be the best shop in the valley... or is it? Better make sure you know what you re looking for, so you don't get robbed! I sent my girlfriend to purchase a 1350 mah 3 cell battery for a glider since she was on that side of town. The staff kindly sold her the most expensive battery they could find without offering her any options or alternatives. After she told me she paid 40+ for a lipo, I called the store, spoke to a rep and asked the price for a 1350 3 cell lipo, they said $22 I then kindly followed up with "why the hell did you sell my girlfriend a 40 dollar battery?!" and you could imagine how the rest of the conversation went. It wasn't pretty. Taking advantage of someone who doesn't know any better is not OK in my book. What happened to people being helpful, offering options and supporting one another in the hobby? The RC community is very close and these guys are not enthusiasts but just want to sell you the most expensive thing you'll buy. Needless to say, I will be taking my business to Duncans and Franks.
