| - Had a coupon for their $19.95 deal, saying we would save $18 since the original price was $37, on a oil change (up to 5.0 quarts) and full service car wash after going to the grand opening. We also filled out a form with our info and asking if we wanted extra stuff like tire service, or other fluid services etc. Said NO to all of them verbally and on paper. So expecting taxes and a shop fee was a given. We go to pay and they charged us $36. Um excuse me?? (Also at the same time there was a sign reading that an oil change and full service car was $24.95). So we had to ask the cashier what the hell was up with that. They tell us that there is a shop fee and a charge for using 5.5 quarts since the coupon only covers 5.0. We have a 1995 4x4 T100, have changed the oil ourselves 3 times. The truck takes 4.5, we fill it with 5.0 just as a personal preference. So they charged us $2.95 for 0.5 quarts. So at the cashier tries to explain that there is a shop fee, the extra charge for the .5 quarts, and taxes. Still didn't make sense that that price was way over the sign and over our coupon. We ended up paying the $26 because we didn't feel like arguing and making and making a scene. We walked out to the car once it came out of the wash and we are reading our paperwork. So we see that they filled our tires. My boyfriend works at discount tire, he checks his tires regularly and also has knowledge of what psi they should be at. They filled them to 40, which for the truck, it should be at 30 but we fill them to 35 also as a personal preference. So the man asks us if everything went good and my boyfriend explained everything and we went on our way. Keep in mind this was a full service car wash but once we got inside there was still trash, crumbs, & stains. Frustrating. Usually do everything ourselves, but figured it was a good deal. Turned out to be more of an inconvenience. Techs are not qualified, the customer service is non-existent, and he employees are just there to take up space. No thx, do a better job in my driveway.
