| - We have brought our 7- and 8-year-old children to this facility several times over the past couple of years when we visit Vegas. It's an easy way to get some family fun in during the day and then making sure the grown-ups get to have some time together in the evening. There is an hourly price (can't remember it at this point, check their website); in addition, you can authorize your child to charge some of the snack items to your account. There is a five hour maximum, so you can't leave your kiddos here forever, but the hours do go into the night. This facility is housed in The Orleans, a decent and laid-back Vegas casino. There is good food and fun here, if not a huge party scene.
When you sign into Kids Tyme, you're given the time that you must pick up your kids. Your little one(s) take of their shoes and head back. You can see the huge play structure and craft area from the front. Apparently there are plenty of other fun things to do in the back as well. We never requested a tour because our kids first tried out Kids Quest at the Red Rock Casino and they LOVED it. I would say that place is cooler than Kids Type (newer, flashier), but the kids love both equally.
You do have to provide copies of shot records. Either submit them two weeks after using the facility or bring in a copy on your first visit.
Our kids last about two hours here, long enough to have dinner and play a little on the slots. When they stop enjoying it, we will stop using it, but for now it is part of our Vegas routine when we do a family visit. Check it out!
