| - It was the tail end of the in-laws visit for the holidays, and after a trip up to Sedona, and a long day at work, the 4 of us had no interest in cooking dinner. So out we went. Chose Calistro due to a decent prior experience there, and from what sweetie and I could remember of the menu, there seemed to be something for everyone there. And let me tell you, there could not be a more diverse group of eating tastes (the foodie- me... and I hate that term, the pescatarian, the meat and potatoes guy, and the nothing spicy lady). Well, this place delivered. I had the duck confit pasta and it was deliciously nuanced and so satisfying I ate every bite. The house salad and appetizer shrimp were excellent, so was the special fish taco, and on the burger, the BBQ sauce was amazingly flavored, and unique to boot! We all enjoyed ourselves in the nice atmosphere, and I can definitely say I will be coming back for their happy hour and specials!
p.s. 4 stars is as high as I go unless the place is truly one in a lifetime, so consider this a very strong review.
