  • I am used to the Midwood Smokehouse location in Plaza Midwood. I had always been so happy with the meals there. So maybe my expectations were too high going into this park road location. Speaking of location- it's a great location! We had a fantastic server and kind hostess. Good beer. Bad news is... the food was just not good. We did go around 8pm. I just loved their chicken and i was so disappointed because it was very dry. The ribs were not a hot temperature but more Luke warm. The bacon wrapped jalepenos were soggy and the corn pudding needed some salt. Perhaps this was an off night... but I'm willing to try again based off of what I know the plaza Midwood location to be!
