  • An oyster lovers dream! In this case, my friend who has an obsession with oysters celebrated his birthday at Maestro SVP. We were quite late for our reservation but they were very understanding and welcoming. Our party of 6 was the biggest in the resto that evening yet, it was very homey and welcoming. Behind us, a chalk board with the varieties of oysters provided demanded attention - and deciphering for oyster noobs like myself. Luckily, our waiter whom was very knowledgeable patiently explained the main differences and directed us towards a certain kind. He constructed a platter , which was delicious and varied. We decided to share a large platter along with entrees and main courses, so we might have ordered a tad much but it's was all so delicious!!! I must say the tuna Tartar stole the show for me! As well, they are known for their oyster shots-yes a shot with an oyster plopped at the bottom! Those were fun an enjoyable! There are even desert oysters with Grand Marnier for you true oyster lovers. We overstayed past closing (I AM SO SORRY FOR THIS) but we're treated so cordially and felt no pressure at all. This restaurant is a little pricier but if you have a passion or want to deepen your knowledge on oysters and similar seafood, Maestro SVP is the place to go!
