  • This was the first time I visited Carrabas - was in town and having dinner with the folks - me madre picked it. Kinda cool atmosphere, very comforting and not too loud. We started with the caprese appetizer - very good mozzarella and the tomatoes were incredibly fresh. I had the classic combo which is chicken parmesan, lasagna and some of their house pasta. The chicken parmesan was thinner than I thought it would be, but it was tasty. The lasagna is a fairly small serving, but very tasty as well - could be a great mea on its own if the normal serving was much bigger. The house pasta was ok - nothing to shake a stick at. My grandmother had the salmon and seemed to enjoy it - the folks had fish as well and they had no complaints. Service was excellent. All in all, not bad. I would say it is a bit pricey for what you get as far as serving size goes, but at least it was good.
