I placed a call at 12:41 PM on Thursday. I was told I'd receive the medicine in 3 days. It's Monday, the medicine isn't here yet. "As long as the call was made before 2 pm then it should have left along the timeline which you are saying," the operator said to me today on the phone. INSTEAD They say it wasn't "taken in" until 8pm that evening. Then was "processed" on Friday instead. AND As a matter of fact, it apparently just left shipment today (the following Monday) and it should arrive in three days. Horrible code of conduct when it comes to animals and medicine. It's still not here ON TIME. My dog is suffering. Don't tell me one thing, then do the opposite. Thanks.
***update***
The medicine arrived on Tuesday. Sat outside for hours. I opened the box and it said it needed to be refrigerated. Yet there wasn't anything to keep it cool during shipment. ***NOR WAS THERE ANY MARKING ON THE BOX INDICATING THAT IT NEEDED REFRIGERATION*** Now I'm wondering if the efficacy of the medicine has changed because my dogs condition has gotten worse. It could be from the timing - the vets presumed time which the medicine should have arrived by to be given to my poor dog. Or it could be because there wasn't anything to keep the medicine cool in its travel time.
Whatever it is-this was a HORRIBLE experience. I have since let the hospital know where I received the referral for this compounding pharmacy about this experience. DO NOT USE THEM.
