  • Got an amazing rate at a discount site (I forget if it was Hotwire or Priceline), and for that price was hugely satisfied with the hotel. It's a full city block and 27 stories tall, so no charming, intimate boutique feel. But there is a family pool and an 18+ pool, the room was a corner one and twice the size of an average moderate-price hotel room, the staff was professional and helpful, and the location is very convenient. Parking is $27 a day, which seems about the same as the other lots in the area, and offers unlimited in/out. The area is a bit sketchy, but not terrifying. I did not eat in the hotel at all, as there's a ton of nice restaurants nearby. Bottom line: get it at a steep discount and enjoy it! (Second bottom line: what the heck is with Ric T's review? Got something to prove, Mr. Tiny Wiener?)
