  • If you grew up Italian of had a friend that was Italian and had food with them (if you didn't , they were not Italian) then this place will bring back memories. The cookies, pastry, take away entrees and the full range of Italian baked treats. The loaf of fresh bread I purchased, only half of it made the trip home, started nibbling on it as soon as I was in the car. Each variety of cookie is a separate taste treat. I got eight different cookies and each and every one was distinct and delicious. Just like my Mom and my Grandmother use to make, ah those Christmas cookies, waited all year for them and was never disappointed. My next visit will be for lunch as they had a dine in menu that looked great. It is a bit of a drive out in Surprise but well worth it.
