| - So this place has all the makings to be great but as my boyfriend says "whenever I take you somewhere and rave about it, we have a crappy experience." Murphy's law! So we went in about 2pm on a Monday, and it was busy but not too busy. There were two hosts, three servers and what looked to be a manager crowded around the host stand, none of which greeted us until we walked up and said something. We asked to be seated outside, which was no problem as it was clearing out- but our server was a total weirdo. She was very odd, couldn't give me any suggestions, and was hardly to be found. I ordered a beer and we got pretzels (the one thing my bf said we HAD to have) and the pretzels were burnt and nasty. Once we were finally able to flag our waitress down, we ordered lunch, he had the stuffed cheeseburger and I had a salad. My salad was great but I wanted to get another (different) beer and by the time I flagged her down, and she put the order in, we didn't see the bartender for easily 10 minutes, so I was done with my lunch. When we left, the same group of staff, including our server was hovered around the host stand and no one said a thing when we left. Overall it was a very mediocre/unpleasant experience and I hate to tell my bf but I would gladly visit another one of the restaurants in Downtown Chandler as opposed to going there again with such an odd atmosphere. I work in the restaurant industry on the corporate side so I am aware of how important customer service is, and I was just disappointed in our visit.
