  • I limped in the office with a knee swollen to twice the size of the other. The PA did not even ask me to remove my jeans. He looked at the xrays and said nothing broken..just degenerative arthritis..so options were shots or meds to reduce inflamation and compression. Why he didn't insist on an MRI to furthur investigate ligament or meniscus damage is beyond me. When I called back the next day to request an order for an MRI, (since can barely walk), the receptionist said she would ask but never called back.
