  • My wife and I went here during the week around 8:00 or so and it was still pretty busy, so that speaks for itself with how much folks like the place. Atmosphere was nice and it was cool to see that former President Obama once even ate here as can be seen by a couple of pictures near the front door. I thought that was pretty cool too. It was a laid back place and casual attire is acceptable. As for the food, it was recommended by the waitress to get the brisket since she said it was her favorite things there. Worked out well because that's actually what I came for and let me tell you, it was some great brisket; some of the best I think I have ever had. It had a perfect smoky taste to it and I enjoyed it without even using any sauce on it since it tasted so amazing on its own. We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend coming here if you are in the Plaza Midwood area and want some great BBQ.
