  • I have lived in Vegas 2 years and have been here 2x for my annual. I was told by a friend to make appointments first thing in the morning because Dr. Bartholomew runs late. I was also reminded that his staff, especially the front desk wasnt great. CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE SUCKS and from the other reviews I am reading and should have read- Dr. B doesnt seem to be making any changes or addressing the bad things happening to his patients. My first visit I went here on a day I was off of work so wasnt in a huge rush. Paper work is the worst part about the place. The new patient and returning patient paperwork is like 20 pages long and takes anyone btw 15-30min to fill out. When I go to my PCP, dentist or any other physician I am able to fill out paperwork online or update only the sections that have changed. The reason about the very low rating is because of my second visit here: let me run you through it. 1) Arrival 9:00 for my 9:00am apt- Informed Kelsie- front desk girl- who didnt greet me, smile, or address me by name- that i need to be out by 10:15 because I have work at 10:45 2) Given new patient paperwork to fill out even though I was a returning patient 3) Took me 20+ min to fill out the paperwork, turn paperwork in 9:25am (the only reason I know this is because Dr. B told me I turned it in at this time- as to make an excuse and place blame on me that me filling out the paperwork late was the reason I wasnt seen on time) - KELSIE: Rudest front desk girl- no eye contact, didnt even welcome me or address me by name, when I proceeded to give her my new insurance card she said she didnt need righ now- to which I told her you will need it to which she told me she would take it later 4) re-get called 5min later by Kelsie for my insurance card- you know the one I just tried to give her 5) Taken back at 9:35- weighed and taken bp. Wathed 30+ min of videos on the heart- repeated stepped out and reminded the clinical staff I needed to be out at 10:15- as I am told I am next even though I waited and waited and waited 6) Dr. Bartholomew sees my at 10:10- To this point I am fuming mad because this office doesnt respect my time- as i told both the front and back staff that I need to be out for work. THE WORST PART ABOUT MY VISIT WAS DR. BARTHOLOMEW and HIS NON CONCERN ABOUT THE VIEW OF HIMSELF OR HIS PRACTICE When he walked into the room at 10:10am (probably because I was just a preventative and not pregnant) he didnt even find the time to see me on time (and probably wasnt even told by the staff that I was on a time crunch). I asked him: Ive been in since 9am and why I am getting seen at 10:10 especially when I told your staff I needed to be out by 10:15am. His answer point blank as he looked at me in the face says: " YOU KNOW YOU HAVE THE CHOICE TO SEE OTHER PRACTITIONERS AND YOU DONT NEED TO SEE ME" LIKE WTH- and then to discuss the time issue with me: He somehow knew the exact time I turned in my paperwork (which he repeated to me)- and then told me something along the lines of: If you stop talking since it is 10:10am, then we can get you out of here on time. I WAS BEYOND PISSED AT HIM. The funniest part about this was that after he told me I could find someone new- I had to have him stick his fingers inside me on the stir ups. He took a sample from me, didnt even tell me what it was about or what it was for. And then 1 week later I get a bill in the mail for said labs. With no phone call from his office!!!! Dr. Bartholomew didnt even apologize after he left- let alone smile and just walked out. He seemed unconcerned about my problems or the fact that his staff was rude or that I waited over 1 hour for him. OH BOY WAS I WRONG: 1 week after my appointment I get a phone call from Tina- Dr. Bartholomew office manager- called me and said she was following up with me because she got a note from Dr. B. I seriously thought she was calling about my lab work, but I was also wrong about this. We had a conversation that did not go well and in fact she only made me more mad. I asked her and stated that I am expecting a "sorry" phone call from Dr. B himself; to which she told me: THAT IS NOT THE KIND OF PRACTICE HE RUNS (to which I thought; WHY NOT)- I mean a patient is specifically asking for a phone call from the doctor and not his office manger for a conversation and experience that was purely unpleasant. I informed Tina that her "fake" words of apology of which she knew nothing about the situation made me even more upset. I again asked her to have Dr. B call me. She said she couldn promise that would happen and we ended our phone call. It was been 2 days since my phone call with Tina and still no phone call from my doctor about my test results (take 1 week ago) nor the horrendous experience that myself- and from what it seems like other people- have had with this office. I MEAN COME ON- WHEN A PATIENT IS UPSET, HOW DO YOU NOT SAY SORRY AND THEN HAVE THE BALLS TO SAY: YOU KNOW YOU DONT HAVE TO COME HERE ANYMORE
