  • We took our dog to PetSmart for grooming 4 years ago for his first haircut. We really went there because we didn't know where else to go. I didn't feel comfortable taking him to a complete stranger working out of their home, the grooming services at our vet clinic were much too pricy, etc. I liked the idea that I could watch our dog's grooming if we felt so inclined, how could they possibly treat our dog poorly if we're watching? Yes, my irrational fears include my dog being mistreated by a groomer. We of course went for the Top Dog package which includes, "special" conditioner, nail trimming, and teeth brusing. I have to say, we were so pleased with the outcome, we've been going there ever since. One time our pup came home with a chunk of hair missing from his side. The groomer was unapologetic and didn't explain how it happened. Another time they left the hair above his eyes a little longer than we like. Overall, he comes home looking clean cut and adorable every time. We really couldn't be more pleased with PetSmart grooming, we've found no reason to go elsewhere.
