| - So far this was the worst bridal experience I had. I went in to the shop because of a recommendation by a owner across the street. I love supporting local business and artists. Anyone who makes a career out of doing what they love is an inspiration to me. I told them my idea for a custom job, they assured me the graphic artists they had in house could handle it and when I got back my first proof, it was nothing like they promised and nothing like we discussed (by the way, the store is usually understaffed on the weekends, IE. when most people have time to come in. The owner was trying to cater to 3 other couples while I was trying to tell her my design ideas. It was very poor customer service). The few people that I allowed to see the first proof that I got back from Three Little Birds thought it was a joke, including my 8 year old daughter. You have to pay upfront to begin a project (customary practice in the bridal business-but it turned out to be a risky gamble with this company) and in that payment you get one covered redo. They didn't bring me in for a consultation to assure they got it right the second time (thought it was doubtful after seeing the first go 'round but a little effort to look like they were trying would have been nice). And the list of things that had to be improved, the owner disregarded. Needless to say, with my deadline approaching, I had to look elsewhere for a custom invitation. I lucked out with an Internet website which captured the feel of my wedding. Three Little Birds did make stickers and those were done reasonably well-however, despite their admitted mistakes, none of my money was refunded even though they didn't dispute their failure. So basically I paid over one hundred dollars for invitations that were so horrible they didn't even go to print and 30 stickers. If you are looking for a custom invitation, good customer service, attentive and knowledgeable manager and staff, look else where. Great business concept but piss poor execution.
As for the candy bar, you can totally buy some apothecary jars and fill them yourself.
