| - Mon Ami Gabi is one of my favorite spots to have brunch in Vegas, sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking the strip with the Eiffel Tower behind me, enjoying delicious French food! Such a nice serene (and sometimes romantic) feeling sitting there. Plus, we had a fantastic view of the Bellagio water show!
Service was good, although they were quite busy and we had to hunt our water down for some extra small plates and dessert. Their complimentary bread isn't the greatest, kind of thin and hard. I had the mimosa for brunch and my friend had the Bloody Mary which turned out to be really good. I always order the escargots and mussels for starters. They are so delish! Their mussels are plump and juicy, unlike typical mussels which are dry and chewy. Their broth is buttery and savory...I can literally drink that thing! It's so good!
Instead of ordering my usual eggs benedict, this time I opted for steak & frites. Had the steak classic which was buttery. Their steak fries are good! Ordered my steak medium rare, but it came out kinda medium and a bit dry in some areas. My friend ordered the steak with wine sauce (forgot the name, but it's the 3rd steak on the list) and ordered it rare. Turned out tasting perfect! So, I highly recommend getting "rare" because the steak is thin and it will be more tender like a medium rare. Next time, I want to try their patĂȘ appetizer and possibly crepe or quiche.
