Proud to be from #UofT.
Excellent academic standards for engineering, respectable infrastructure and support, and a clean and safe environment in a clean and safe city. Many top-tier companies recruit from UofT's engineering and CS faculties.
On-campus housing is all right, while off campus housing is plentiful and there's something at every price point.
As a city university with direct access to at least two TTC stations, it's also quite commuter-friendly for those who hail from within the GTA and want to save money by living at home.
It would be nice if the administration could stop running the heat at 25C+ in many buildings though... it makes it stifling hot during the winter. I don't want to take off every single one of my outer layers every time I go indoors!
Also, the convocation ceremony really needs to be held at an earlier time so that students who need to leave Toronto soon after exams are less likely to need to fly back and pay for accommodation. Waiting nearly 2 months is rather lame. At least if you can't make it, UofT is rather quick about mailing your diploma instead.
