I was so excited to hear about a new brewery in the South Hills! The bottle selection is amazing. So. Many. Beers! The tap selection was decent. I was surprised that the brewery didn't have there own IPA.
The place was super busy and had a good vibe.
Our friend got there a little early and saved a table. We wanted to pace our food, have some appetizers before dinner. Our waitress suggested that we put in all good then because the kitchen was taking forever. I get it, it was super busy. So we ordered the corn guacamole, kale salad, wings, and the butternut squash pizza.
It did take a very long time but I was ok with that, like I said, it was slammed.
I was not ok with the pizza not being done. Our hands were literally white from the flour, it was that raw. It was a droopy sad pizza. The wings were great, crispy and great flavor. The kale salad was the worst. It was marinated kale but they should have marinated smaller pieces. It was whole leaves of kale shriveled up and soggy. Between 6 of us we didn't take more than a few bites.
The flavors and concept were there but the execution was not. We will give it another try though we may wait a couple months so the kitchen can work out the kinks.
