I took a chance on getting a timing belt replaced on a Saturday at Right Honda. I pulled in the service Lane a little after 12pm. Bill Thornton wrote the work order, told me he'd be able to get me finished no later than 3:30 -4:00.
I told him I'd wait, and then Bill offered me a loaner car, for no expense. How could I refuse. After a few minutes of paperwork I was driving off in a Honda Fit.
So at a little after 3pm Bill calls and tells me the car is done and I could come get it. So I rolled back into the dealer at 3pm and after paying for the car I was on my way.
Btw, I didn't check on prices until afterwards. As it turns out the dealer was very competitively priced compared to independent mechanics in the area.
