  • Boyfriend & I visiting Vegas. I want to book us on the Red Rocks Canyon tour but waited till the day before (not recommended as it fills up fast and they seem to have cut off times if booking via vegas.com). Anyway, bf backs out and I go by myself. Single female, mid 40s. Feeling very awkward about going on a tour where everyone else is with their buddies. Not even a problem. As long as you are wearing sneakers and have a bottle of water, you are good to go & join in the fun. Chris picked us up promptly. READ your reservation confirmation so you are at the correct hotel door for pick up. Don't assume its the main entrance. Don't be THAT person who holds up the tour. Chris was personable, asked questions of all guests as he greeted them and got them on board, started the conversations going amongst the group of 10. He obviously knows a lot about the area as well as is a seasoned rock climber and outdoor enthusiast. Once we made the hotel rounds to pick up all guests, it was a 30 minute ride to Red Rock. He used a microphone and was easy to understand. He spoke about Las Vegas throughout the drive and got us to Red Rock safely. Once there he was very informative about the geology, flora and fauna of the area. Multiple stops along the tour to experience the canyon, take photos, learn some history or ask questions. The Pink Jeep Trekker was comfortable, clean and a water cooler was provided. From pick up to drop off, it was 4 hours. I would guesstimate 2.5+ hours at Red Rock which was plenty. I would definitely use Pink Jeep tours again.
