  • This may sound like an oxymoron, but this is the best metal bar with a relaxed atmosphere around As someone who enjoys heavy metal and music with a harder edge to it, it's nice to have a place that plays nothing but music of this nature. The best part is that they appear to have hit the perfect decibel balance. The music is loud enough to enjoy but not loud to the point of having to shout at the person right next to you. It truly is a place where you can sit back and relax with some friends with great music playing in the background. I'd be remiss if I forgot to mention the staff. From the people working the door to the servers, everyone is very friendly. Oh, and the best part? The beer is cheap. Sure, the selection isn't what I'm used to seeing at most of the bars and restaurants in Vermont, but it's not like they are serving swill, either.
