  • This place is old school... southern fried chicken dinner in a box. To go only. Cash only. It is a classic Charlotte place and was very tasty. Mixed (white/dark) chicken dinner (fries, hush puppies, slaw and a roll). Find a table outdoors and get a sweet tea (I prefer unsweetened, but this meal calls for sweet tea). I'm taking off one star as the oil my chicken was fried in was a bit old on my visit, giving a slight burnt taste, but still a great experience.
