  • I am shocked at the reviews on Yelp. This restaurant is the best non-fine dining South Asian restaurant in the city. Don't expect fancy furniture, don't expect not to eat in a portable, don't expect to have to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom, don't expect to eat off stainless steel cutlery or drink out of non-disposable glasses, and don't expect not to stink... The kebabs are amazing... the chicken tikka appetizers are amazing... the pickled chili is wonderfully salty.. the kashmiri chai is aromatic... the service is friendly... and you feel like you are "home"... if home is in Punjab, Pakistan. Fantastic restaurant - my favorite part about it is the diversity of the clientele. If you want good Punjabi cooking, eat there!
