One of my favorite place to volunteer. I tried to volunteer to cook dinner at RMH on a monthly basis. The only reason when I can't make it is due to important work related meeting.
This house is huge, and accommodate 12 + families. I first volunteered without truly understand how the house helps families. After I got home, I decided to read up on the mission of the house. Boy was I emotional. I then made an effort to volunteer as much as my availability allows me to, to be a part of a non-profit organization to provide families a second home, closer to the treatment facility where their children are seeking medical attention.
If you haven't done so, please check out RMH and give a few hours of your time to volunteer. It will make an impact on one's life.
