| - I love the movies. I go almost every week. This is a BIG theater. It has a popcorn and a soda "offer" that is great. I am not into popcorn that much because my sister choked on a kernel when I was 5 and had to be rushed to the emergency room. Even so, it is a tradition to get popcorn and soda. So, you go inside and where you give your ticket is a counter and you buy a t-shirt for a one time charge and you have free popcorn (medium I believe), for the year, which you can upgrade for a dollar. Also the "special" cup is good for the year too. Soda is $1.50 with the special cup.
The theaters are diverse. Big and less big. Very nice seats. They have a (Cine Capri) theater that is awesome. Sound is 360 degrees and has speakers in the ceiling! It rocks for action movies. The screen is one of the big curved jobs.
This is a big city so expect that there will be a ton of people at any big opening. Get there way early to get your ticket and be prepared to wait in line. Otherwise, wait a week or two and the lines will thin out. If you have access to a computer, you can, for a small upcharge buy tickets online. So, don't panic if they say they are sold out. Go on your phone and you can buy a ticket to get in. Keep in mind if you are with a group of people and you have waited that long to be told "sold out" then you might not be able to sit together as a group. Plus, when you get inside, your choice of seats may not be the best.
Overall, the family atmosphere and the cleanliness of the theater is very good. The restrooms are like being in a casino almost. Very nice.
Did I mention I love the movies. I think a lot of other people do too.
