  • I have been coming to NTB for alignments for years because I figured that since they specialize they are somehow better, rather than taking it to my family friend's shop like I do for general repairs. Fast forward to this year, I bring in my car because there is some slop in the steering. Later that day they call me saying that they can not do the alignment due to the suspension being broken, and they give me a laundry list of parts that need replaced, with a final total of $1,800. My car is 10 years old with over 135,000 miles, and it shows. $1,800 is more than I could get for the car if I sold it outright. I told them no and began pricing how much it would be to get a new car. As my wife and I were buying a house, it was out of my price range. I drove my car around like this for 3 months, until it got too bad to handle. Finally I took it to my family friend, and asked him if he could get some parts from a junkyard to keep it going for awhile. He calls me back after taking a look at it, he tells me that while the parts listed are worn, they are completely serviceable. After everything is said and done my total was just shy of $290. Point of the story, I feel like an idiot for coming here for years. Avoid this rip-off shop at all costs. Don't waste your money, there are better shops in the area. I would give a negative star review if possible.
