  • I've been coming to Studio Bronze for over 3 years for spray tans (since my last check in on Yelp). I book appointments for all my special occasions. Alex does take some time to respond, but this doesn't bother me because she's always able to get me in with her or with someone else. However this past visit I had on 10/06 @ 5:30pm, may have been the deal breaker... I walked in on time like always, about 15 minutes before my appointment & was greeted very cold by a young hairstylist who was working on her client. She really didn't greet me, rather just asked if I had an appointment with someone- which I did, with Janaye Lewis. She told me to take a seat, she should be here shortly. I got there around 5:15pm. & this young hairstylist saw me wait until about 5:45pm. Never acknowledged my presence or ask if she could maybe help me get a hold of Janaye. She kept busy with her client until I finally stood up & asked if she could help me contact Janaye or knew where she was at. She told me she did not have Janaye's number but would try to get a hold of the owner, Alex. She then told me she had Janaye's number & told me that I could text her? I was upset at this point because I felt like there was no help or someone to go to when things like this go down in a business. I called Janaye instead of texting. Janaye told me she was never told about a 5:30pm appointment but it was a good thing she was at her in laws because the salon was near by & would be at the salon in about 10 mins. 10-15 mins slowly went by & she walked in with a male & said I'm sorry. Looked for my history of tans, asked if I wanted the same as last. I said yes & we proceeded. Janaye was nice, calm, apologized a few times but you know, it just didn't feel like enough. She offered a discount at the end, which she didn't have to. I still gave her a 20% tip, because I'm not that type of person. But the experience was unacceptable. I live 30 minutes away from Studio Bronze, but became a fan of the tan services & the friendliness of Alex, but unfortunately this may be the last time. I didn't leave, because I was flying out the next day & I needed a spray tan for my brother's wedding. I received confirmation emails-- emails stating if I didn't show I could possible be charged or cancellation reminders for other clients whom wished to have that same time. Same applies to the business. Be on time. Look at your schedule. Communicate with each other. & even though that's not your client- still be professional & provide customer service. I thought about giving this review or not, & I had to. I still felt bothered by it.
