| - I've been using ExecuCar for half a decade now on my trips to and from the airport for international travel, and have had nothing but great experience with them. Many years prior, I had been using the much maligned SuperShuttle that they related to, but made the switch after using the ExecuCar sedans for business trips a few times.
Without hesitation, I can say that I will never go back to shared van's for travel to and from the airport. It's just so nice to have the car arrive on time, every time, exclusively for you and your party and no nonsense having to wait for other people to get their crap together, who ultimately slow you down. With the sedan, my party and I hop in and we go straight to the airport. No drama, no nonsense, no reliance on other travelers and their issues with being ready on time.
I have always gotten stellar service, courteous and safe drivers and never once been late to the airport, in fact I've always been earlier than expected for as far back as I can remember. Always much respect for my preference to either be chatted with or just leave me to catch a few more winks of sleep on the way, which is definitely appreciated. By contrast, the van drivers would never shut up, and neither would any of the other douchebag passengers and their annoying children. Yes, you're going on a trip. Yes it's exciting. No, I don't want to hear about it at 3am on the way to the airport, I just want peace and quiet. With the ExecuCar sedan, I never have these problems. It's absolute, sheer bliss and the only way I will travel to the airport.
A tip for those that seem to have issues on their return trip, as far as connecting with a sedan once you arrive -stop being cheap and pay for the full meet and greet service at the airport. Yes it costs a few dollars more, but you get a driver that's been waiting, even if your flight is an hour late, holding up a sign (or a tablet) with your name on it, right as you walk into baggage claim. For the peace of mind and not having to chase down anyone or make phone calls when I arrive, it was well worth the few extra dollars it cost me. Seriously folks, you just blew how many thousands on airfare, but you can't spend another $20 for meet and greet service? Really?
I have never had late pick up, late drop off or any problems connecting with any of the drivers. Nothing but top notch, professional and courteous staff. Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra bucks and have one less thing to worry about. Getting from point A to point B isn't that difficult as long as you don't cheap out or have unrealistic expectations. The reason folks find themselves waiting at the airport curb is because while some of us paid extra for immediate pick up, they just expect the same for free.
