  • Went in to try it out because it was close by and fast. I was pleasantly welcomed with a greeting - something I wasn't expecting. Nice touch! I ordered the Margherita pizza. Mistake #1 came when they cooked it with the basil leaves on the pizza (you're supposed to top basil after the pizza has been in the oven so the leaves don't burn). Now for the pizza. The crust is borderline flavorless. The sauce is far too salty (and I like salty). The cheese balls ("fresh mozzarella") barely resembled cheese. All in all, Pizza Fire has spent a ton of money on the marketing engine as well as the store displays, menu presentations, and speed ovens. What they haven't spent any money on is better ingredients, freshness or quality. As nice as the staff was, I won't be back.
