  • Dear Boulevard, what in the world will I do without you?! Please tell me this is just a temporary break-up, I don't handle rejection well. If you're not aware, one of Charlotte's best local shops will close its South End doors at the end of this month because of development plans in the area. A moment of silence, please. Okay, I will now attempt to type this through the tears. This is one of my go-to places I send people when they ask, "where should I go to buy a gift?" It's also one of only two Charlotte shops who landed on our top 50 national list published by Mashable. Clothes, jewelry, home decor, candles, mugs, local, handmade, LOCAL! This is where you go to score something unique and special. I wish Jen and the girls the best of luck. I hope to see them move to a new storefront in the very near future!
