I had purchased a a groupon for one haircut, style,and full color treatment. I was scheduled to go with my niece who had seen Brooke before. (BTW, she was very sweet). My niece scheduled the appt. since she had been there before,Soso I asked her to be sure I was with someone who was very good with color. So the appt. was made and I was told I would be seeing Melissa. Also I want to mention I have mobility issues and my niece was kind enough to make sure we were scheduled at the same time so she could drive us there.
When we first got there I was told there was no way I was ever scheduled with Melissa in a very argumentative fashion, definitely not intended to make a good impression on potential new customers.
I ended up with a girl named Naomi. Before we began I explained I had a groupon and she angrily told me that highlights were not included in the groupon price and it would be a considerable amount of more money for full highlights. She became so angry with me she said she was going to get the supervisor. In the meantime, all the other stylists kind of "ganged up on me about how there was no possible way the groupon could include highlights". A girl named Nicole came in and said it would be $45.00 more, did I want it or not?
Well, if it had not been for my niece having here appt. with the very sweet Brook, and the fact that I have mobility problems, I really would have left then...not necessarily because it was more money, but more because of the really incredible anger they all seemed to have. So I agreed to pay the extra money.
Naomi acted very angry throughout the approx. 3 hours I had to sit through this horrid experience. I even tried being nice to her in the beginning to try and lighten the mood. It was the most uncomfortable, horrid experience I have ever had at a salon, and I am a senior. She maintained this attitude throughout the whole treatment. As a matter of fact, for the first time in my life I decided I would not leave a tip. I hated having to do this as I know these girls get most of there money thru their tips. But there was no way I could tip here when that is based on your happiness with you treatment. I have NEVER been treated so horrible in all my life!!!! The issue for me was how I was treated not the extra $, although that was an added negative.
Obviously, this salon is not using Groupon as a marketing tool to expand their market, as a matter of fact, I don't think they are even interested in expanding their customer database at all! Bottom line, if you want the worst, snotty, mean experience of your life this would be the place to get it, with the exception of Brook.
Sorry for the lengthy review but I felt it was important to relay the entire experience I had.
