| - I don't get the bellyaching about the prices. Jeans for $24.99? Maybe but they're usually stuck on jeans that retail for $300 in the store! A bowl for $9.99? Probably, but did the reviewer check if the bowl was Wedgwood or Royal Doulton? Same item, different colour, different price? I'm sure if you point this out to the staff, they would happily honour the lower priced item.
Prices are higher because there are so many resellers that come by, swooping things up, so all these thrifts stores have smartened up about their pricing. So that's why tops are no longer $1 and don't forget inflation as well!
On to the review for this particular location...
Store is fully renovated, large, organised, nicely lit, and clean for the most part. At least there are restrooms for customers. Like most stores, you hafta know which workers to ask for assistance, some are more helpful/friendlier than others, but for the most part they're pretty good.
Staff is constantly restocking sales floor throughout the week, so there's a lot to look through. Merchandise is moving a lot quicker at this location than their older one, so I am finding less stuff, but it's all about timing when you go thrifting!
No complaints and a vast and welcomed improvement from their original location. Parking lot is much better because there are fewer tenants.
