| - I was skeptical on the way to the Winter Beer Fest. There is just a serious lack of great places to drink craft beer in Vegas. I don't want to pay the outrageous prices at Yard House...plus, they may have ALOT of beers, but none of them are really that out of the ordinary or unique (IMO). My skepticism continued when I entered the bar, it looks just like any other bar in Vegas - dimly lit with a large bar, filled with smokers and video poker machines. The beer list is definitely what sets them apart. They had a great selection, which included one of my favorite beers, which is just now becoming available in the area. The waitress was friendly, and when there was an issue with our tab at the end, she fixed it quickly with no arguments. My Mom and I shard the Wisconsin fried cheese curds and an order of the garlic parmesan fries. Both were really good, but the fries were really amazing. The garlic aioli dipping sauce was SO delicious. I would love to try other things on the menu.
I was hoping to meet other beer lovers while there, but unfortunately it seemed as if everyone was in small groups and were not too friendly (obviously not the bars fault). So I didn't make any new friends thi time around, but I will definitely be back for a visit soon.
