  • I have mixed feelings about this place. I actually purchased my VW from another dealer so I dont have any experience with their sales Team. This review will be completely based on their service department. Let me start with the good: My VW requires synthetic oil. Its a turbo engine and the manual states you have to use synthetic oil. So for my first oil change i took it to a generic lube shop (yes.. one of the quick in and out shops that are everywhere) and it cost me $70 for one oil change. After calling the service department at Larry Miller I actually got on a service plan for 3 full synthetic oil changes for about $120. Which breaks down to about $40 per oil change.. MUCH better than the other chain places. A+ for this! Now for my bad experience: I was changing the brake pads myself on my car and there was a Keyed lug nut on my wheels. The key wasn't provided to me when i bought the vehicle from the other dealer. Not Larry Miller Volkswagen's fault, no big deal. So I call Larry Miller Volkswagen parts department because they are closer to me than the place i bought the car from. They tell me that they have the key IN STOCK and the parts guy told me he will put the part aside for me so i can come in and pick it up. At this point I drive across town and come in and when i tell him what i want he remembers me and says "let me go get that for you" only to return empty handed and say "oh... that part has been discontinued and we don't sell it anymore. The only one i have it this one right here and its part of our master set" "You'll have to talk to the service department about what they would charge you to use this master set to take your keyed nut off and replace it with a generic one" At this point i walk over to the service department and the manager lady tells me it will cost a FULL hour of labor to take off the 4 lug nuts and replace them with generic ones. Plus an extra $5 per lug nut to replace it. The price she quotes me is over $100 to replace 4 lug nuts.. I obviously declined and left and figured out how to do this another way. Incredible how i had such a positive experience the first time and such a negative experience the second time.
