  • I had a very bad first experience with bleaching my hair for an ombré bayalage and haven't done anything but box dye to it for the past 4 years. I finally decided to reach out to a stylist in summerlin but it took her weeks to respond and she wanted over $200 for what I wanted. My roommate recommended Evelyn to me and I texted her to make an appointment. Evelyn asked me a few things about my hair and asked for a picture. Definitely don't lie to your colorist about when the last time you dyed your hair or what you did to it. They need to know in order to figure out the correct steps to take to get you what you want! Anyway, making an appointment was super easy and she was able to work around my crazy schedule. The salon itself has nail and hair stations and was very clean. I was greeted at the front desk and they went to let Evelyn know I was there. Evelyn offered me water or coffee before we started. I showed her what I wanted and she did bleach my hair for full headed highlights. The process took about 4 hours including cut and style. After I got home, I didn't like how to color on the top of my head turned out and reached out to her to ask for suggestions on what to do. She told me to come in so she could tone it. I wasn't 100% in love with the outcome at first but after she fixed it, I'm completely satisfied with my hair. I can wait to go back and have it lightened! 5 stars because ... Evelyn is super knowledgeable and friendly, she will work around your schedule, it was easy making an appointment (just text her), and her pricing was very fair. I've already recommended her to my coworkers.
