  • What a grand place! I have been to the King Eddy often and a pleasant room, friendly and accommodating staff are consistent. As a platinum SPG guest I am often upgraded to a spectacular room that adds to the experience, but I would stay here anyhow. Pros: - lounge is a great place to refresh - lobby bar is spectacular for a casual meeting or a drink before dinner - afternoon tea - proximity to everything you want to do in Toronto Cons - the carpet and bathroom in some rooms are tired ( not bad, just tired) - often sold out; book early
